Come on over to see what kind of math we did with these cupcakes yesterday and grab your freebie!

More fraction fun!

Today we made ice cream fractions.  My students LOVED creating their own ice cream scoops (on paper!), loading them with toppings, and creating their ice cream fractions!

You can see what we did over on my blog and grab the hallway sign and writing paper I made for the activity!  Click the pic or blog button to head over!

Fraction Fun!

I LOOOVE teaching about fractions... it has to be my favorite unit.  There are so many fun things you can do and you can use food, which is always a hit!  Yesterday we had "Fraction Fun Friday" in my classroom.  We made fraction kites and did fraction marshmallow math.  You can check it out on my blog and get the freebies for the kites and marshmallow math too!
