Favorite Read Alouds linky party

I love finding new books to read aloud to my class. Last year, I moved up to 2nd grade and kept some of my same students so I had to find a whole new set of books to read aloud to the class. I found a set of amazing books last fall and I am still in love with them. The stories are funny and cute. The illustrations are amazing. And the kids love them! You have to check them out. They are great easy chapter books for first graders and second graders.
There are 6 books in the series and they all feature the toast-loving pig, Mercy Watson. After we read all 6 books last year, my kids were so devastated that there weren't any more books. We have finished reading the first 3 books so far this year and my class is loving reading about Mercy's adventures.
