I have been thinking all summer about how I wanted to confer with my students during Reader's and Writer's Workshop. In the past I have carried around a binder, taken notes, created file folders etc. but I never stuck with any method.
A few days ago I was shopping at Barnes and Noble and ran across a file system that I thought would work for me. Inside the file purse, (that's what I like to call it) there is plenty of room to put a file for each child. I like that it is small yet sturdy. I hope that this year I can take my purse from table to table to conference. I will probably bring a clipboard too. Not too shabby!
